Snow and bubble effects
Snow falling on a crowd in July, a dancer in a cloud of bubbles, a winter collection on a white catwalk: soft effects that make people look up and smile. Pyred brings snow and bubble machines to stages, studios, fashion shows and festivals.
Not every big moment needs fire.
Snow
Snow machines on the truss let flakes of foam float down over the stage or the audience. It works indoors and outdoors, in any season, and can run softly for a whole song or burst out at the climax. We use a biodegradable snow fluid.
- At the Gentse Feesten 2025, seven snow machines on the truss let snow fall over the Sint-Baafsplein
- At the FIFA Arab Cup opening ceremony in Qatar, snow added texture to the story on the pitch
- On catwalks, snow goes with a winter or poetic collection
Bubbles
Bubble machines fill a stage, a dance floor or a runway with thousands of soap bubbles. On camera, with the right light, they become a moving decor. For Louboutin at Paris Fashion Week, bubbles floated over the pool of the Molitor.
Good to know
- Snow and bubbles leave a little residue on the floor; we take that into account for dance floors and slippery surfaces
- Wind outdoors decides where the snow lands, so we place the machines on the day
- Both combine well with low fog, confetti and Sparkular cold sparks
Frequently asked questions
Is the snow real?
No. It is a light foam made from a fluid, which looks like snowflakes in the air and disappears shortly after it lands.
Can snow be used outdoors in summer?
Yes. At the Gentse Feesten in July it snowed over the whole square. Only strong wind can spoil the effect.
Are bubbles and snow suitable for weddings?
Yes, for example for the entrance or the first dance. See special effects for weddings.
