Fireworks for municipalities and cities
National day, the city festival, the fair, New Year or the opening of a new square: Pyred designs and fires the fireworks for municipalities and cities, and supplies everything the police, the fire service and the mayor need to give permission.
One audience: everyone. One chance: tonight.
What we do for a municipality
- Design: a show that fits the place (square, park, harbour, castle) and the budget, set to music if you like
- The safety file: the effects, the safety zone, the site plan and the emergency information, ready for the police and the fire service
- Air traffic: we tell you when the aviation authority must give permission too (near an airport or above 200 metres)
- On the night: licensed pyrotechnicians with a pyro-pass, transport from our licensed storage, firing and cleaning up
- By day: coloured smoke instead of fireworks, for ceremonies in daylight
Public celebrations we have fired
- Belgian National Day (2023) and Luxembourg National Day (2023–2025)
- French National Day in Troyes (2024–2026)
- The opening of the Gentse Feesten (2022)
- The city of Aalst: the pyrotechnics for CIRK (2024)
- The opening of the new sea lock in Terneuzen, a Belgian-Dutch project (2024)
- The fireworks for the Zomerhit finale on the Blankenberge pier (2024–2026)
- 250 years of the United States in the Cinquantenaire Park, Brussels (2026)
Frequently asked questions
Our municipality bans fireworks. Can we still organise a show?
That depends on your police regulation: many municipalities ban fireworks for private persons but allow the mayor to make an exception for a professional show. We help you put the file together.
How far in advance should we book?
As soon as the date is fixed: the safety file, the advice of police and fire service and, sometimes, the aviation authority take weeks. National day and New Year are booked early.
Do you work with public procurement?
Yes. Send us the specifications and we respond with an offer and the documents that are asked for.
