250 Years of the United States – Brussels
On 28 June 2026 nearly 9,000 guests celebrated 250 years of American independence in Brussels’ Cinquantenaire Park, with sixteen cold-spark machines and red, white and blue streamers on stage.
On 28 June 2026 the United States marked 250 years of independence with a large celebration in the Cinquantenaire Park in Brussels. Nearly 9,000 guests came for speeches by, among others, the American ambassador, Prime Minister Bart De Wever and NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, and for a concert by the Zac Brown Band.
For the event agency DDMC Event Design, Pyred created the effects on the stage in front of the arcade: sixteen machines for cold sparks and eight cannons that filled the air with red, white and blue streamers at the key moments. Every effect ran through a central safety controller.
