KRC Genk

Pyred has worked for KRC Genk since 2016, with more than a hundred projects in and around the stadium since then. Every season we run the flames at the home matches: in 2025–2026 that meant 23 match days, from the first game in July to the last one in May.

On top of that come the moments that call for something extra. For the 2025 play-offs we added flame machines and machines for cold sparks along the pitch. For big matches we fire fireworks and coloured smoke from the stadium roof, sometimes with a second line of fireworks on the pitch itself. Against Club Brugge on Boxing Day 2025 blue and white smoke filled the stands, and in February 2026 fireworks lit up the roof for a Europa League night.

The smaller touches count too: handheld streamer cannons in blue and white for the fans, T-shirt cannons and snow cannons. Everything on the roof and the pitch is fired wirelessly.
