6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps
A Belgian flag in smoke above the track and a wall of silver jets at the finish: Pyred's pyrotechnics for the FIA WEC 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps.
The 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps is the Belgian round of the FIA World Endurance Championship. Pyred did the pyrotechnics in May 2025, for the event agency Takevent, and again on 9 May 2026, this time directly for the organiser, Le Mans Endurance Management.
Before the start we raise the Belgian flag in smoke: 27 positions in a row, nine black, nine yellow and nine red, each firing four smoke shots, 108 in total. At the finish, 48 positions along the side of the track fire 192 silver jets as the cars cross the line, and the bridge over the track gets fountains and blue smoke.
Everything is fired wirelessly and to a script, so the effects land exactly when the cars pass.
