Flames, confetti and coloured smoke for one of the biggest rugby tens tournaments: Pyred has created the effects at Flanders Open Rugby in Dendermonde every year since 2022.
Flanders Open Rugby in Dendermonde is one of the biggest rugby tens tournaments in the world: in 2025 more than a hundred men’s, women’s and veterans’ teams from eighteen countries took part. Pyred has created the effects every year since 2022, directly for Dendermonde Rugby Club.
Flame machines burn throughout the weekend, and on finals day the show follows: confetti and streamer cannons, coloured smoke, LED smoke jets and a CO₂ cannon, with the flames fired wirelessly.
For the 32nd edition, from 22 to 24 May 2026, we coloured the smoke jets green and yellow.
