We Ride Flanders
Amateur cyclists start the Tour of Flanders cyclo under a gate of cold sparks and flames, in Bruges and in Oudenaarde.
We Ride Flanders is the Tour of Flanders for amateur riders, held the day before the professional race. Pyred has worked for the organiser, We Ride, since 2023.
On 5 April 2025 the longest route started on the Markt in Bruges, beneath the Belfry, while the other distances started in Oudenaarde. In both places we set up the start arch with machines for cold sparks and flame machines, so every group of riders rolled out under a shower of sparks.
In 2026 the start was on the Markt in Oudenaarde. Next to the cold sparks and eight flame machines we added two smoke jets with LED light, all controlled from one desk.
